The majority of our residents at Two Acres have complex presentations interlinking with their Dementia diagnosis and require Nursing Care. We strive to provide a wide variety of activities so that all can benefit from this very important part of our daily care. All our activities are planned on a person-centred basis and we check with individuals and unit leads to see what is required on the day.
All activities are designed to not only mentally and physically stimulate the clients we care for, but also to make it an enjoyable satisfying experience at all times taking into consideration residents past hobbies and interests.
Outside entertainment such as singers, musicians, animal visits, and exercise instructors are brought in on a regular basis for additional fun and engagement
At Two Acres Care Home, we are proud of our community connection.
One of these is Taverham HIgh School and Sixth Form. Our residents enjoy and participate in the full Intergenerational experience with visits to and from the school during the acedemic year. One of these was a recent opportunity to assist an A Level photography student.
